Sarah E. Smith
Sarah E. Smith is the President and Founder of Madison Environmental Group, who maintains a close working relationship with ABS. As a registered Professional Geologist (P.G.), Sarah consults with ABS on all projects requiring expertise in the area of fuel systems and related issues. Prior to forming Madison Environmental Services, Sarah's served as the Director of Environmental Affairs for Signature Flight Support where she was responsible for developing and implementing the company's environmental compliance programs for fuel and other liquid storage at their 50+ locations across the United States. She also facilitated the remediation and construction of numerous fuel storage facilities. Prior to her experience with Signature, Sarah was an Environmental Consultant for Groundwater Technology, Inc.
Sarah specializes in environmental analysis and remediation techniques specific to FBOs and other airport-related businesses, and is uniquely qualified to provide due diligence and appraisals related to environmental and fuel facility concerns. She presently provides due diligence and miscellaneous environmental services to virtually all of the major FBO chains in the United States. In addition, she is highly experienced in the development of fuel storage and delivery facilities, and the creation of operational and maintenance manuals for fueling operations. Furthermore, Sarah is involved in multiple projects associated with the conversion of fuel storage and delivery data into a Geographic Information System (GIS) format.
Sarah has been published on numerous occasions and has made presentations at various conventions/seminars for the National Air Transportation Association and the American Association of Airport Executives.
